"If it's Christian, it should be better". - Rev. Jerry Falwell Sr.
Jason Lewis aka Humble Tip began attending Liberty University during the Fall of 2003. He began his undergraduate degree majoring in Sport Management. His freshman year at Liberty University was a bit of a transition because of the culture shock he says he experienced. Humble Tip says, "it was like a whole new world. People were smiling and laughing and reading their Bibles on the campus. I had never seen anything like it before."
Later in Humble Tips tenure at Liberty University he changed his major to Health Promotions. He also became a prayer leader on campus where he held weekly Bible studies and also began to use his gift of rhyme. After being a graduate of Liberty University for 8 months Humble Tip decided to return to pursue his Masters degree in Human Services with a concentration on Health and Wellness.
Humble Tip says, "outside of accepting Christ in my life, deciding to attend Liberty University was the most important decision I have ever made. Attending this incredible institution has literally affected every single area of my life for the better."
Humble Tip currently works in cooperation with Liberty as a national recruiter. This position allows him to travel the country and visit community colleges, high schools, college fairs, youth conferences and weekly youth group gatherings all in effort to share the vision of Liberty University.
Liberty University was founded in 1971 by Dr. Jerry Falwell, Sr., with a vision to train Champions for Christ. An accredited institution, Liberty now offers more than 300 programs of study. Liberty's more than 7,000-acre campus boasts millions of square feet of technologically advanced academic, residential and recreational space, the vast majority of which was constructed in the last 15 years. |
